TANSHEQ supported Tanga UWASA in updating the environmental and social assessment for water supply and sanitation improvement projects to reflect current project conditions and regulatory requirements.
TANSHEQ’s Role
Reviewed and updated the ESIA and supported renewal of environmental certification, including preparation of an Environmental and Social Management Plan and Health and Safety Management Plan.
Key Outcome / Value Delivered
The assignment supported issuance of the environmental certificate and provided updated ESMP and HSMP instruments for project implementation.
